We were hired to create a logo and corporate visual identity for a new cognitive health and medical institution in Colorado. We used the star-like shape of a neuron and placed that shape onto a 3D globe in Adobe Illustrator to achieve a 3D curved effect. We then used color to create additional depth. For single color designs such as the all white logo, we added a stroke and cut out the shapes to maintain clarity in single color usage.
Branding is about more than designing logos. It is about telling a story through visual language, by using color, fonts, and emotional tone. Quality design requires foresight to plan for future uses and to create artwork that works in any scenario whether that be embroidering the logo onto scrubs, creating captivating web graphics, or creating literature with the right appeal. We needed this brand to feel smart, established, and trustworthy. When the stakes are high, and people are putting their well being in a company’s hands, it’s important for the brand to communicate trust, reliability, and quality.
For PREMIER, we offered many options themed around the idea of transformation and cognitive health. In the concept graveyard, you can see some of the options that were presented, but not chosen.
